HLTAID011 Provide First Aid gives you practical skills for responding to common medical emergencies until qualified help takes over.
This nationally recognised unit covers emergency response, CPR, asthma, anaphylaxis, bleeding, shock, fractures, burns and other common first aid situations.
On successful completion, you receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for HLTAID011, including HLTAID009 Provide CPR.

Complete the online theory, then attend your practical session with a qualified trainer and assessor.
Photo ID is required before assessment evidence can be accepted. A Unique Student Identifier is required before your Statement of Attainment can be issued.
Students need a basic level of language, literacy and numeracy. An optional LLN assessment is available before enrolment.
The practical assessment includes demonstrating at least two minutes of uninterrupted single-rescuer CPR on a manikin on the floor. Contact us if you need to discuss reasonable adjustments.
You need a suitable device, internet access and the ability to complete online learning and assessment activities before attending the practical session.
