Course format: This course includes online theory and a required face-to-face classroom practical session. It cannot be completed fully online. To be marked competent, students must complete the required online theory, attend the classroom practical session, participate in practical first aid scenarios, and successfully complete CPR assessment requirements.
CPR and practical ability: CPR assessment requires students to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on an adult manikin placed on the floor. If you have an injury, disability, pregnancy, mobility restriction, or any other concern that may affect your ability to complete practical tasks, please contact Eclipse Education before booking so we can discuss support options or reasonable adjustments. Reasonable adjustments can be made where appropriate, but they cannot change the required skills or assessment conditions of the unit.
Enrolment requirements: Photo ID is required before assessment evidence can be accepted. A USI is required before your Statement of Attainment can be issued. An LLN and digital literacy check may be completed at enrolment to confirm the course is suitable and identify any support needs.
