In Victoria, you need an RSA Certificate of Completion to work in many licensed venues. To receive your RSA Certificate of Completion, you must complete:
- An LCV-approved RSA course (this course - make your booking below)
- Sexual Harassment and Assault: Recognise, Prevent and Respond (SHARPR; additional online module)
Important: It may take up to 48 hours to receive the Liquor Control Victoria (LCV) email containing instructions to set up your Learning Hub account. Once your account is set up, complete the SHARPR module and required surveys in the Learning Hub.

What Happens After the Course?
- Receive your Statement of Attainment (SoA) within 24 business hours of successful completion

What is an RSA certificate?
The Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is mandatory proof that you understand how to serve and sell alcohol responsibly and legally. In Victoria it confirms you understand your obligations under the Liquor Control Reform Act so you can work in licensed venues.
Is the course really delivered online?
Yes. Liquor Control Victoria-approved RSA courses can be delivered online when the approved pathway requirements are met. Our course is conducted via virtual classroom with full audio and video, so your trainer can verify your identity and participation throughout the class.
What technology do I need?
You'll need a device with a camera and microphone (smart phone, tablet, laptop or desktop), a stable internet connection and a quiet space for your booked live session. Some dates are split across two shorter sessions; if you choose a split class, your booking includes both linked parts shown in the calendar.
How is this different to the RSA certificate itself?
Completing this course gives you a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment. To receive your Victorian RSA Certificate of Completion, it may take up to 48 hours to receive an email from Liquor Control Victoria with instructions to set up your Learning Hub account. After your account is set up, complete the separate "Sexual Harassment and Assault: Recognise, Prevent and Respond" (SHARPR) online module and the required surveys in the Learning Hub.
When will I receive my Statement of Attainment?
You'll receive your Statement of Attainment within 24 business hours of successfully completing your training and assessment.
