Option 1: Single-document pathway
A current Queensland Transport and Main Roads driver licence, photo identification card, industry authority or marine licence indicator may be sufficient. Documents expired for less than two years may also be accepted where permitted.

Option 2: Category A and B combination
Provide either one Category A document plus two Category B documents, or two Category A documents plus one Category B document. At least one Category A document must show your full name and date of birth.

  • Category A examples: Australian birth certificate, citizenship certificate, passport, driver licence, ImmiCard, high-risk work licence or Australian Government travel ID.
  • Category B examples: Student photo ID, Medicare card, Pension or Healthcare card, bank card, firearm licence, security licence, ADF photo ID or interstate photo card.

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples: Additional referee evidence may be required.

CPCWHS1001 course requirements

Identity Requirements

Queensland identity requirements require you to complete the official Evidence of Identity (EOI) process before you attend the virtual classroom. Original documents (physical or digital originals) must be sighted by the trainer.
