Why Queensland Learners Choose Our Online Course

Our WHSQ-approved White Card Queensland night class is for people whose work, school, apprenticeships or family commitments make a daytime course difficult. You join a live Google Meet classroom, interact with your trainer in real time and complete the same nationally recognised CPCWHS1001 training and assessment as a one-day student. When a night-class date is available, the delivery is split across two linked evenings, normally from 5:30pm to 9:00pm, so the course does not run through to midnight.

How the QLD Night Class Works

  1. Choose a linked evening booking: Find a night-class listing in the calendar and check both dates before booking.
  2. Attend evening one: Join the live virtual classroom at the listed start time with your identity documents, device and PPE ready.
  3. Return for evening two: Rejoin the same linked class for the remaining training and assessment activities.
  4. Complete the course: Receive your Statement of Attainment after successful completion, followed by the required Queensland White Card processing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a White Card QLD?

A White Card QLD is mandatory proof that you've completed construction induction training for Queensland. It confirms you understand Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements so you can safely enter and work on construction sites.

How does the White Card Queensland night class work?

Selected Queensland night-class bookings are delivered as two linked live online evening sessions. You attend the first evening, return with the same group for the second evening, and complete the required training and assessment across both booked sessions.

What time is the White Card QLD night class?

Night-class dates normally run from 5:30pm to 9:00pm on each of two linked evenings. Check the booking calendar for the exact dates and times because availability can change.

Do I have to attend both evening sessions?

Yes. The two evening sessions are linked, so you must be available for both dates shown together in the booking calendar. A booking for one part does not complete the course.

Is the night class the same qualification as the daytime course?

Yes. The night class covers the same CPCWHS1001 unit, trainer-led delivery, participation requirements and assessment as the one-day course. Only the timetable is different.

Can I complete the White Card QLD course online?

Yes. WHSQ allows trainer-led live online delivery. Our White Card QLD course is conducted via Google Meet with full audio and video, so your trainer can verify your identity, PPE and participation throughout the class.

What technology do I need?

You'll need a device with a camera and microphone (laptop, desktop, tablet or Android phone), a stable internet connection and a quiet space for each booked live session. Some dates are split across two shorter sessions; if you choose a split class, your booking includes both linked parts shown in the calendar. Headphones are recommended for clarity.

Do I need PPE during the online class?

Yes. You must have access to a hard hat, high-visibility vest, safety glasses and hearing protection. Your trainer will ask you to demonstrate correct use of each PPE item during the assessment.

How do you check my identity online?

Queensland identity checks depend on the document pathway. Some current Queensland Transport and Main Roads documents may satisfy the single-document pathway; otherwise provide the required Category A and Category B combination. Your trainer will confirm the applicable documents before the session starts.

When will I receive my QLD White Card?

You'll receive your Statement of Attainment after successful completion of your training. Eclipse Education then completes the required processing and issues your Queensland White Card.

Can I reschedule my booking?

Yes. Contact our support team at least 48 hours before your scheduled class and we'll happily move you to another available session.

Do you offer group or corporate bookings?

Absolutely. Call us on (03) 5201 0569 and select option 3 to organise a dedicated session for your team or workplace.

Is my QLD White Card recognised interstate?

Yes. Once you are issued your Queensland White Card it is nationally recognised, meaning you can work on construction sites anywhere in Australia.

Still Have Questions?

Our friendly Australian support team is here to help!
