Identity Requirements
WorkSafe Queensland requires you to provide three matching original Evidence of Identity (EOI) documents before you attend the virtual classroom. Make sure your ID is ready to show your trainer at the start of the session.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Queensland White Card?
The White Card is mandatory proof that you've completed construction induction training. In Queensland it confirms you understand Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements so you can safely enter and work on any construction site.
Is the course really delivered online?
Yes. WorkSafe Queensland allows live online delivery as long as the session is trainer-led. Our course is conducted via Google Meet with full audio and video, so your trainer can verify your identity, PPE and participation throughout the class.
What technology do I need?
You'll need a device with a camera and microphone (laptop, desktop, tablet or Android phone), a stable internet connection and a quiet space for the full 6-hour session. Headphones are recommended for clarity.
Do I need PPE during the online class?
Yes. You must have access to a hard hat, high-visibility vest, safety glasses and hearing protection. Your trainer will ask you to demonstrate correct use of each PPE item during the assessment.
How do you check my identity online?
WorkSafe Queensland requires three matching Evidence of Identity documents. Have them ready to show your trainer on camera before the session starts. We'll confirm the documents again when we issue your certificate.
When will I receive my WorkSafe QLD card?
You'll receive your Statement of Attainment on the same day as your training. We then lodge your details with WorkSafe Queensland who will mail your official card directly to you.
Can I reschedule my booking?
Yes. Contact our support team at least 48 hours before your scheduled class and we'll happily move you to another available session.
Do you offer group or corporate bookings?

Is my Queensland White Card recognised interstate?
Yes. Once you are issued your Queensland White Card it is nationally recognised, meaning you can work on construction sites anywhere in Australia.
