Mode of Delivery
This course is delivered online with a required workplace practical assessment.
Online learning and assessments - Complete the theory at your own pace in our student portal. Save your progress and return anytime.
Workplace practical assessment - Students must organise access to an operational food preparation area. A supervisor or industry expert observes and verifies your practical tasks using a checklist we provide.
Host Site Pre-Approval and Declaration - Before any practical tasks begin, your chosen workplace must be approved by Eclipse Education. A supervisor or food handler at the site completes a short online form confirming suitability. We provide this form and manage the approval process.
Privacy during workplace recording - Practical tasks are recorded on video as part of the assessment evidence. All recordings are handled in accordance with Eclipse Education's privacy policy, and workplace participants are informed before recording begins.
Workplace evidence requirements - You will complete a set of structured workplace tasks and reporting forms provided by Eclipse Education. These are submitted directly to Eclipse and form part of your assessment evidence.
We provide all instructions, forms, and guidance once you enrol. The responsibility for finding a suitable workplace lies with the student, and we make the process as simple and supported as possible.
