Standard 100-point evidence of identity
Use one primary document worth 70 points, then add enough secondary or supporting documents to reach at least 100 points. Your documents must collectively show your photo, date of birth, signature and current residential address.
- Primary - choose one (70 points): Australian birth certificate/card, a current or recently expired passport (within the last two years and not cancelled), or an Australian citizenship certificate.
- Secondary (40 points each): Australian driver licence or learner permit, boat operators photo licence, current NSW firearms photo licence, Australian high-risk work licence, state or territory proof-of-age/photo card, or Australian Police or Defence photo card.
- Supporting (25 points each): Department of Veterans' Affairs or Centrelink card, council rates notice, property lease, home insurance papers, recent utility or telephone bill, vehicle registration or insurance, Medicare card, or a credit/savings card or bank statement. Use no more than two credit/savings cards or statements, and they must be from different financial institutions.
